Pristine waters and purified evil.
Two by two, dark-haired beauties vanish only to reappear as hanging, plundered corpses. The Virgin Islands boast diamond-white beaches, lush green mountains, a rich cultural heritage—and a brutal killer.
Three years on the “Field-Dresser” case and Special Agent Nathan Brewer is days away from catching the bastard—if he can convince a certain brunette to trust him. Only the woman is more likely to take a casual stroll on the surface of the sun.
After fleeing her troubles in the United States for the quiet life of a school teacher on the island of Tortola, Madelyn Garrett never imagined she’d be fixated upon by pure evil.
In a fight for her life—with a dwindling number of friends—she must rely on her cunning and Nathan’s skills for survival.

Purchase:

When it comes to mystery and suspense, the standards I've set are very high. Coming from reading books by this author, I crave twists especially for these genres. This book has given me that and more. For All to See gave me a peek into the lives of the characters and how the people you trust can be the very people who'd hurt you.

Madelyn Garrett is one of the characters that I come to admire. She's loyal, fierce and would totally kick butt if you wrong the people she loves. She's hardened by her past and yet an unfortunate event cracks her walls, letting SA Nathan Brewer see the vulnerable side of hers. But with evil lurking, would they be able to discover more of each other when one's life is at stake?

Told in a third-person view, you get to see and feel from both Nathan and Madelyn's side (and even snippets from the mind of the Field Dresser). You get to see how they came to tolerate, then depend and later on fall for each other. You get to see their lives in that moment as they face other people, searching the truth for the event that has caused Madelyn so much pain and could be the missing link to Nathan's case.

Romance triumphs over mystery in this book as we get to see more of how the protagonists came to connect with each other than the little nuances that may lead to the Field Dresser. When it comes to mystery, it's the little details that pique the interest of readers as they try to connect them piece by piece before they reach the big reveal.

For All to See is the book for readers who love a little bit of mystery in their romance titles.

  1. I love the mix of romance and mystery, and it sounds like this one does it very well, too! There's not much better than a great twist, too! Glad you liked it! :)
